Night is another representation of my psychological space. Every night I find my mind filled with attractions decorated with bright and fancy lights. This piece displays an elephant hanging alone in the spotlight. The hanging elephants represent myself and how a single thought can hang in my mind as I sit reflecting on how my mind works. Unlike its splendid appearance, the elephant is surrounded by emptiness, which was by design. This was meant to represent the parts of my mind where I store unnecessary worries, regrets, and anxiety. While these aspects of myself may seem invisible, for me, they are one of the most prominent aspects of this piece.
